A male teenager has suffered minor injuries after reports of a possible drowning in Ashbridge Bay

Paramedics in Toronto rushed a male teenager to hospital after reports of a possible drowning in the Ashbridge Bay area.

Emergency crews were called to the area around 6 p.m.

Firefighters say they are working with police to search for the person in the water, but the search ended at 8:45 p.m. Toronto Fire told CityNews it was unclear if the search had ended or if anyone had been found.

Ambulance workers say that they took a teenager with minor injuries to the hospital, and also treated and released an adult man from the scene.

There is no more information about the age and circumstances of the person who caused the incident.
