Toronto drug bust sees 2 charges: TPS

Two men have been charged after police say they found drugs and a replica firearm at a camp in downtown Toronto early Saturday morning.

Police said officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a number of tents at the camp in Clarence Square Park on April 12 just before 8:30 p.m.

Once inside, police say they found a number of drug paraphernalia, including fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, and a replica firearm.

As a result, two men were arrested and charged with several crimes, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, assault, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of the proceeds of crime in the amount of $5,000.

The accused have been identified as Pablo Jose Bermudez Garcia, 57, and Gregorio Fera, 33, both of Toronto.
