Police investigate stabbing near Manwin Hotel – Winnipeg Free Press

Winnipeg police are investigating the stabbing of a woman in downtown Winnipeg early Saturday morning.

According to a police statement, officers responded to the 600 block of Main Street at 6 a.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing.

At the scene, police found a woman suffering from multiple injuries “consistent with an assault with an edged weapon.”

The woman was taken to the hospital in an unstable condition, where she is now in stable condition.

Const. Jason Mihalyshen said that the incident happened in the territory of the Manwin Hotel.
