GO Toronto to Niagara Falls train schedule

Ontario is expanding GO Train service between Toronto and Canada's top tourist destination.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford made a statement Friday at the GO train station in St. Catharines, saying the expanded service between Union Station and Niagara Falls will reduce commute times for daily commuters and help boost tourism.

Beginning May 20, weekday service to Niagara Falls will increase to two flights daily, and weekend service will increase to one roundtrip for a total of 21 trips per week.

According to the province, GO trains will also run to the St. Catharines VIA station.

Ontario is also adding four additional weekly express trips on each route of the Lakeshore-West line, which the province says will add more travel options between Hamilton, Burlington and Toronto.

“Weekend GO Train service will feature special seasonal bike cars that will allow passengers to bring bicycles to explore the 56-kilometer Niagara River Corridor,” the government said.
