GAME DAY: Jets at Avalanche | Winnipeg Airplanes

DENVER – The final road trip of the regular season ends today for the Winnipeg Jets against the Colorado Avalanche.

With 24 road wins, the Jets set a franchise record for wins away from the Canada Life Centre, but will look to make one last statement on the road before heading home for the final two postseason games.

At 49-24-6, the Jets have 104 points in the standings, and when they look out onto the ice at the Avalanche at Ball Arena, they'll see a team with the same record and points. To say this will be another chapter in the divisional rivalry between the two clubs – especially with playoff implications that could end the season – would be an understatement.

The Jets have won five in a row and are 3-0 over the Central Division-leading Dallas Stars, while Colorado is 5-4-1 in their last 10 games and the Minnesota Wild are 5-2 in their last game. on Tuesday.

With an early puck drop of 3:00 p.m. CT, the Jets will not be holding a morning skate, but head coach Rick Bowness provided some lineup information after Friday's practice. Connor Hellebuyck will start in goal, and the Jets plan to have the same lineup as Thursday, but the extra forward and defenseman will warm up as some players deal with bumps and bruises.
