Angela McKenzie | CTV News

Angela McKenzie has been reporting for CTV Montreal since 2015, where she began working as a freelancer.

As a video journalist, she reports, shoots and edits her own stories while trying to tell creative and informative stories.

She is interested in covering breaking news, human interest and social justice stories, but she also enjoys diving into new challenges, such as reporting on politics from the National Assembly in Quebec City.

During his time at CTV, he covered the biggest stories from Quebec elections and several spring floods to the Lac Megantic rail disaster trial and the manhunt for Martin Carpentier.

He was also part of the team that won the RTDNA Award for its coverage of the 30th anniversary of the Polytechnic Massacre.

Angela holds a BA in Journalism from Concordia University and a BFA in Film and Video from York University.

He is a longtime resident of Montreal, originally from Cape Breton Nova Scotia and Kingston Ontario.

When not working, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
