Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers | Olympic Games

warning: The Jets practiced on Friday in preparation for today's game against the Avalanche, where we learned Nino Niederreiter will not be ready to go this afternoon. No morning skate for the Jets. All relevant news will be announced in the pre-game report, so check it out. Puck drop is at 3:00 PM CDT.

Note II: Tonight, after the final buzzer beat between Winnipeg and Colorado, we want you to join the conversation on the Illegal Curve postgame show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose look to get closer to the playoffs this afternoon when they begin their final home series of the regular season against the Wild in Winnipeg. And Viewing the scoreboard was acceptable to Manitoba on Friday night. While the win doesn't get them into the playoffs, they could do so tonight if they win out and the Wolves lose to the Griffins anyway tonight. Puck drop is at 2pm CDT.

Winning but dominating isn't a surefire way to inspire confidence, as they did when they beat the Predators but gave up 17 scoring chances. Against the top-ranked Stars on Thursday, they looked like the Flyers who went 5-for-5 earlier this season.
