Etobicoke man in hospital after stabbing

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Etobicoke Friday night.

Toronto police were called to the area of ​​Valermo Drive and Browns Line just after 7:50 p.m. for a report of three men fighting.

When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound. Police arrested two suspects at the scene, but did not release additional information about them or their relationship to the victim.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This is the fourth stabbing that Toronto police have responded to on Friday.

A Toronto police officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a 28-year-old man stabbed him outside a Tim Hortons on the city's west side. Two other stabbings in the city center sent two people to the hospital.
