The man accused of inciting hate at the Nathan Phillips Square rally

Toronto police have charged a man with incitement to public hatred after he allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks against demonstrators and children at a downtown demonstration.

Police say it happened on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Nathan Phillips Square.

On Thursday, April 11, Toronto police arrested Razaali Awan Bahadur, 45, of Toronto.

He was also charged with failure to comply with a probation order.
