Sante Quebec is officially launched with offices in Montreal

Sainte-Québec will be officially established a few weeks after Health Minister Christian Dubé selects a president and CEO.

In preparation for this announcement, they have already prepared their offices. One will be in downtown Montreal at Union 2021.

The goal of Santé Quebec is to ensure the predictability, availability, efficiency and stability of the network, which allows for better coordination between institutions, the government says.

It will be the health network's sole employer responsible for attracting and retaining employees.

The headquarters will be located at 930 St. Foy Street in Quebec City.

The buildings of Montreal and Quebec City house the employees of the Ministry of Health.

The phased transfer of personnel to Sainte-Québec will take place in two phases.

The first wave of integration, which includes mainly management staff, is scheduled for June 17.

The second wave of integration is planned for September 2024.

According to a press release, about 700 positions may be transferred from the Ministry of Health to Sainte-Québec.
