Nikola Ehlers scores 200th NHL goal – Hockey Writers – Winnipeg Jets

Nikolaj Ehlers reached a career milestone for the Winnipeg Jets in a very important game against the Dallas Stars. After scoring his 200th career NHL goal, he became the first Danish player in league history to reach that mark. With 453 points in 602 games, the 28-year-old already has some impressive numbers.

The Jets, who could overtake the Colorado Avalanche for second place in the Central Division if they beat the Stars, will need every goal they can get at this point in the season. Ehlers won his 24th campaign with 57 points in 79 contests. If he does appear in the Jets' final three games, it will be a remarkable turnaround from his 66 games over the previous three seasons.

Ehlers has been spectacular in the scoring department in 2023-24. Doing his damage with less than 16 minutes of average ice time and six power play points, he's working to put up the numbers he has. Being in the lineup was a big help in his second 100-point season for the Jets.
