Flames reassign Jayden Lipinski to Wranglers

The Calgary Flames have reassigned Jaden Lipinski to the Calgary Wranglers following his season with the Vancouver Giants and added him to the Wranglers' ATO roster.

Sam Honzek is in Calgary but day-to-day with an upper-body injury for the WHL playoffs.

Gonzek, a 2023 first-round pick of the Flames, was named the Giants' captain for the 2023-24 season and had 10 goals and 31 points in 33 games last season. Lipinski, Calgary's fourth-round pick last summer, had 24 goals and 66 points in 67 games in 2023-24.

The Wranglers host the Abbotsford Canucks tonight ( TICKETS ) and tomorrow ( TICKETS ), their final home games of the regular season.
