HOW SHE MET NICOLE BROWN

She was a waitress at the fancy Beverly Hills restaurant, The Daisy. They met while eating there and quickly became inseparable. They married in 1985, had two children, Sydney and Justin, and divorced in 1992.

EARLY DEATH OF HIS SON

Simpson had three children from his first marriage to Marguerite Wheatley: Arnel, Jason, and Aaren, who drowned in the family pool in 1979 at the age of 2.

NFL CAREER LAND NEWS

At the University of Southern California, Simpson won the 1968 Heisman Trophy and was the first player selected in the 1969 NFL Draft. As a pro, Simpson became the first player to surpass 2,000 yards. He was the NFL Player of the Year in 1972, 1973 and 1975 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1985. Simpson played nine years with the Buffalo Bills and two years with the San Francisco 49ers.

HIS GREAT GLORY

At the height of his soccer fame, polls showed him to be one of the three most popular personalities in North America. In 1977, he became the first professional footballer to grace the cover Rolling Stone. In 1978, he became the second professional athlete to host Saturday Night Live.

ACTOR SIMPSON MOVIES

Simpson's frail 73-year-old mother abandoned her wheelchair and took the witness stand, telling jurors that her son had rickets as a child and inherited rheumatoid arthritis, leaving him too disabled to kill anyone.

TWO BOOKS WRITTEN FOR MONEY
