Winnipeg police have arrested a suspect in the latest murder

WINNIPEG – NATIONAL NEWS – On April 9, 2024, the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit identified a suspect in the early morning murder of Edison Leslie ERSKIN.

32 year old man, Jordan Tyler TRACHILIS Winnipeg was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

According to the investigators, the victim and the accused quarreled, and as a result, the shooting took place. The details of their relationship are still under investigation.

On April 9, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Central District officers were in the neighborhood of Daniel McIntyre when they heard a gunshot.

A man with a gunshot wound was located near Furby Street and Cumberland Avenue. Officers provided emergency medical care; he was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries.

The identity of the deceased has been established Addison Leslie ERSKIN, 46 Winnipeg.
