Two Milton men have been charged with carjacking in Toronto

Two Milton men are among four people charged in connection with a carjacking in Toronto yesterday.

Toronto Police say they responded to a report of a vehicle theft yesterday (April 9) in the area of ​​Kennedy Road and Hwy. 401.

According to police, the victim stopped his car and noticed two suspects in a red car nearby.

One suspect allegedly produced a handgun and demanded the victim's car keys.

The suspect took the keys and left the scene in the victim's car along with a red car.

Uniformed and plainclothes officers from the 42nd Division responded to the area and located three vehicles parked together, including the victim's vehicle and a red vehicle.

Police officers spotted four suspicious men around the vehicles and arrested them.

Alyan Shahbaz, 22, of Milton, Ravinder Mooker, 40, of Milton, Deandre Robinson, 21, of Hamilton, and Senduran Suthararan, 29, of Bradford are charged with multiple weapons and burglary charges.

All appeared in court this morning at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
