Toronto weather: sunshine, storm forecast

Toronto will have sunny and mild weather today, but a “strong” spring storm is on the horizon, CP24 meteorologist Bill Coulter said.

The city will be mostly sunny this afternoon with a high of 17 degrees, around seven degrees above the average daytime temperature on April 10.

“But the clouds will move in again tonight ahead of a strong storm,” Coulter said Wednesday. “This low will lead to wet weather Wednesday night into Saturday night.”

Toronto will experience rain Thursday evening with an afternoon high of 16 C and thunderstorms.

Coulter said Toronto will start the weekend “cool and breezy” with a high of 10 degrees on Saturday, but warm and sunny weather will follow. Daytime highs of 17°C are forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
