What's open and closed in Toronto on Family Day

The first long holiday of the year is almost here, and with it comes the return of winter.

After a brief spell of sun and heat, Toronto will experience sub-zero temperatures and a few flurries over the Family Day weekend.


But don't let that stop you from making the most of your long weekend. Although February 19 is a statutory holiday, many malls, shops and attractions will still be open on Family Day, albeit with altered hours.
