Two suspects have been arrested, and a third suspect killed a Toronto resident in an apartment building

Toronto police have arrested two suspects and are looking for a third after a man was killed in a fight at an apartment building in the city's Weston neighborhood over the weekend.

Officers were called to the area of ​​Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West just before 6 a.m. Saturday for an assault.

When officers arrived, they found a man with significant injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police on Wednesday identified the victim as Edwin John Redmond, 27, of Toronto. He is the city's sixth homicide victim of the year.

Police also said they arrested two suspects, Zakaria Vardere, 27, and Ninos Khoshaba, 49. They were charged with second-degree murder. The charge was not proven in court.

Homicide investigators continue to search for a third suspect, identified as 42-year-old Liban Mohamud. He is wanted across Canada for second-degree murder.
