Leafs' Rielly appeals 5-game suspension

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly will appeal a five-game suspension handed down by the NHL on Tuesday, TSN reports.

Long Leaf received the penalty Saturday night after checking Ottawa Senators forward Ridley Greig. With seconds left in Ottawa's 5-3 win, Greig hit an unopposed shot into the empty net as Rielly delivered a high check.
