Hey Calgary, will you be our Valentine?

With major construction on the Green Line LRT set to begin in late 2024, we asked Calgarians to check in on their construction concerns and all things Green Line. We know Calgarians support the project, but they have some questions. That's great because we have the answers!

So, in honor of Valentine's Day, we want to take our relationship with Calgarians to the next level by launching our Get to Know the Green Line campaign.

Through research, we received candid and honest feedback from Calgarians about the construction, project benefits and concerns. All of this confirmed Calgarians' belief that the Green Line is an important investment in Calgary's future.

But have we also heard that Calgarians want to know what we're building? Where exactly is it going? How long will construction take? Who is responsible? How much does it cost? What will be the impact of construction on business? And what do we get from this level of investment?

In the coming months, Green Line will share facts, benefits, and take the opportunity to debunk misinformation. We were surprised to learn that many Calgarians still think there will be a tunnel under the Bow River, something that changed five years ago!
