LONDON, ONTARIO — CARFAX Canada is pleased to announce that Sean Wording has been appointed as its new President effective March 1, 2024. Wording, who currently serves as Vice President of Product and Sales, brings a wealth of experience with impressive results from his 15 years at CARFAX Canada. He has held a number of different roles and responsibilities as CARPROOF since the early days of the company, which was renamed CARFAX Canada in 2018.

In this new role, Wording will report to Edouard Tavernier, president of S&P Global Mobility, a division of S&P Global that manages a portfolio of leading information and technology products for the automotive sector with multiple brands, including CARFAX Canada. Tavernier expressed his enthusiasm for Wording in his new role, highlighting his passion, intelligence and leadership and strategic skills. “Sean is a proven leader with extensive knowledge, experience and relationships in the automotive sector that will benefit CARFAX Canada as it continues to accelerate its growth,” said Tavernier.
