Quebec man arrested for child pornography

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has arrested a 32-year-old man on allegations of sexual abuse and child pornography.

Kevin Nero, 32, pleaded guilty Wednesday in St. Jerome's Court to six counts of access, possession, production and distribution of child pornography, sexual assault and sexual intercourse.

The SQ says Nero's home was searched and computer equipment seized for analysis.

The force worked in conjunction with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and several municipal police officers.

He is expected to remain in custody until the end of the trial.
