Mount Sinai Hospital Protest: Trudeau Responds

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called Monday's demonstration outside Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital a “reprehensible” display of anti-Semitism.

Trudeau released a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. in response to reports of protest outside the facilityfounded more than a century ago by the Jewish community of Toronto.

“Hospitals are places of healing and care, not protests and intimidation,” Trudeau said.

“I strongly condemn this manifestation of anti-Semitism. In Toronto and across Canada, we stand together with the Jewish community against this hatred.”
