ANA@MTL: Game Summary | Montreal Canadiens

MONTREAL – The Canadiens bounced back from a pair of weekend losses with a 5-0 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday at the Bell Centre.

Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkowski had three-point nights to help the Habs win, extending their point streaks to eight and six games, respectively.

Cayden Prayo opened the scoring. He last pitched on Jan. 20 in Boston in relief of Samuel Montembo, and his last start came two nights earlier in Ottawa. Primeau made 13 saves in his first career NHL shutout win.

It wasn't the only first of the night, though, as Brandon Gignac scored his first career goal in his fifth game — the fourth against Montreal.

The Canadiens scored several power play goals to help extend the lead. It was the seventh time this season they scored multiple goals with the man advantage.
