A wanted man has been arrested in Winnipeg

A man identified by Crime Stoppers as one of six “Least Wanted Valentines” was arrested when his name and photo were released to the public.

According to Surrey RCMP, Fabian Yule Brown was arrested in Winnipeg on Feb. 7 by Surrey RCMP.

The 49-year-old will be returned to BC to face charges in that province.

Brown and five others were part of the Crime Stoppers campaign, which was unveiled Tuesday. The organization said Brown was wanted in connection with kidnapping, assault, burglary and fraud.

Surrey RCMP say a warrant was issued for Brown in February 2023.

“A significant effort was made to locate Brown and the warrant was extended across Canada after investigators learned he may be living in Winnipeg,” police said Tuesday.
