Shot in the middle of a street near a park in North Montreal

On Monday afternoon in the Montreal-North sector, there was a shooting between people in two vehicles on a residential street just a short distance from a children's park.

No injuries were reported in this afternoon of gun violence, but checks were being carried out at various hospitals in the area as a man with a gunshot wound arrived for treatment.

Shortly after the shooting, a bullet-riddled car was found in the parking lot of the Maxi grocery store, two kilometers from the scene of the shooting, at the intersection of Industrial and Pi-IX boulevards.

According to QMI, the gray Dodge Dart was hit by at least four firearms; One punctured the driver's side door, two broke the back door, and the fourth broke the rear window of the car.

Forensic experts are expected to arrive at the scene in the afternoon to collect evidence.
