Montreal's PixMob ignites the Super Bowl halftime show

PixMob is back at the Super Bowl for the fifth year in a row.

Entertainment LED lighting experts provided a crowd-pleasing experience during the 2024 Halftime Show.

Founded in 2006, PixMob is a leader in wireless lighting thanks to its permanent LED fixtures that create live effects that can synchronize a crowd-based show with the sound and visuals of a performance or event.

Jean Olivier Dalfond, CCO and partner of PixMob, said he is proud to partner with the Super Bowl for the fifth year.

“PixMob is honored to celebrate our partnership with the Super Bowl for the 5th year in a row,” said Dalfond. “It's a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersive lighting technology and constantly innovating the fan experience.”

This year, PixMob managed to transform 60,000 fans and on-site performers into an immersive light show synchronized to Usher's performance.

The Vegas audience was equipped with PixMob's LED icons, the brightest LED wearables in the industry, transforming the audience into a canvas of light and immersive effects.

The performers on stage were also illuminated with PixMob's ultra-bright X4 wristbands, which synchronized visual effects to match the performance.

In 2014, the Montreal startup showcased their technology and how it could impact the Super Bowl fan experience after showering 80,000 fans and 500 on-field performers with wearable LED technology during Bruno Mars' halftime show.

Since 2020, PixMob has graced every Super Bowl halftime show, working with Shakira, JLO, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, the Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

Last year, they activated Rihanna's performance by lighting floating platforms that carried the artist through the air.

PixMob has worked in more than 40 countries and covered more than 2,000 events.

The 2024 show marks the 10th anniversary of the company's first appearance at the event.
