Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid shares a laugh with Travis Kelce during the Super Bowl

It was footage that quickly became a meme, but Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid laughed off Travis Kelce's tough talk during the team's 25-22 Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Angered by Reid's ejection in the first half, Kelce pushed the 65-year-old so hard on the sideline that the Chiefs coach lost his balance at one point while the tight end continued to scream in his face.

Kelsey was eventually picked off by teammate Jerick McKinnon.

“He keeps me young,” Reid joked on CBS's postgame show. “He tested that hip. He kept me off balance – normally I would have given him a bit, but I didn't have a leg under me.”

Reid later reiterated in his post-match press conference that Kelce tripped him because he was caught off-balance, adding that it simply shows his desire to win.

“The part that I like about him is that he likes to play the game and he wants to help his team win,” Reed told reporters. “It's not selfish, it's not, I understand that.

“As much as he hits me, I'm going after him and we'll figure it out.”

After the game, Kelce told ESPN they'll keep it “between us,” and he joked to Reed, “how much I love him.”

“I got the greatest coach I've ever had in this game,” Kelce told reporters after the game. “He not only dials up the plays and sets everything up, but he's one of the best leaders I've ever seen in my life.

“He's helped me a lot with controlling that emotion, channeling that passion, and I owe my whole career to that guy and being able to control how emotional I get.

“I love it, man.”

Of course, as the internet is wont to do, the moment immediately became a meme.

X users, formerly known as Twitter, posted the photo to express their “controversy” about everything from Tony Stark's first Iron Man suit to the title of the wizards in The Wizard of Oz.
