Ice chips: New York Rangers Igor Shesterkin starts the game against the Calgary Flames

New York Rangers

Igor Shesterkin will be in tonight's game against the Calgary Flames.

He had a 28-save performance in Friday night's 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

The 28-year-old is 20-12-1 in 33 appearances this season with an .899 save percentage and a 2.86 GAA.


Philadelphia Flyers

Goaltender Samuel Ersson will start tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.

The 22-year-old is 14-9-3 this season with a .903 save percentage and a 2.47 goals-against average in 27 appearances. He has won his last two starts, stopping 48 of 50 shots.

The Flyers are in third place in the Metropolitan Division and riding a three-game winning streak.


New Jersey Devils

Goalie Vitek Vanacek (illness/lower body) is out this morning, filling in behind opposite goalie Nico Dawes, who is in the starting lineup, Devils reporter Amanda Stein.

Defenseman Brendan Smith skated extra in practice and is not expected to play tonight against the Seattle Kraken.

Smith missed the last nine games with a knee injury. The 35-year-old has one goal and four assists in 34 games this season, his second for the Devils.
