A timeline of police responses to five suspicious deaths in Manitoba

KARMAN, man. — RCMP say three children and two women died Sunday in separate but related incidents in and around Carman, southwest of Winnipeg. The police arrested a 29-year-old man.

Here are the police response times for the five deaths. All times local:

7:30 a.m

Officers pull over on Highway 3 south of Carman and find a woman's body in a ditch.

10 in the morning

Officers are called to a report of a vehicle on fire on Highway 248 northeast of Carman, and a witness learns that three small children have been pulled from it. The children were pronounced dead.

Police officers arrived at the scene and arrested a 29-year-old man. Police did not specify his relationship with the dead or what charges he will face.

Further investigation leads officers to a house in Carman, where they find the body of another woman inside.
