1 dead, 1 in hospital after Sunday night crash in Winnipeg

Winnipeg police say one person is dead and another is in hospital after a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night.

WPS around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at Lagimodière Boulevard and Cottonwood Road.

One driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital in serious condition. Police say he later died from his injuries.

The other driver, a 20-year-old man, was also taken to hospital in a stable condition. Police said they have since spoken to him.
