The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Manitoba are investigating five suspicious deaths in the south of the province. According to the police, the victims were found in different places.

In a press release, RCMP say they have arrested the suspect and there is no danger to residents.

RCMP spokesman Tim Arsenault will provide an update on the investigation at an afternoon press conference in Winnipeg.

However, police warn that the conference may contain “information that may shock the media and the public.”

RCMP say the victims were found near Highway 3, near Carman and Winkler, near Highway 248 and at a residence in Carman.
