“Montreal Canadiens” forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard is out for 4-6 weeks due to a physical injury.

The Montreal Canadiens announced that forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard will miss 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury. Additionally, the team announced that linebacker Jordan Harris has an upper-body injury and linebacker Kayden Goulet is still being evaluated.

Harvey-Pinard left the Canadiens' game against the Dallas Stars early on Saturday with an injury suffered on a random play. During routine play on the ice, Harvey-Pinard collided with Canadian teammate Joel Armia and fell awkwardly. Soon he left the game and did not return. It's the third time Harvey-Pinard has missed time with an injury this season.

Through 24 games this season, Harvey-Pinard has one goal and seven points, along with six penalties and a pair of +0 ratings. His performance this season has been a step up from last year, with 14 goals and 20 points in 34 games as a rookie. This could be due to his recent injury history and the team is hoping that he will fully recover from this injury.

This can be a concussion-related injury, and they are not always predictable. And with the Canadiens far out of the playoff picture, they shouldn't look to re-insert Harvey-Pinard into the lineup.

Harris has not played since January 27 and is close to returning to the lineup. He has carved out a good role for himself as a future defensive staple for the Canadiens.

Guhle finished Saturday's game against the Stars, but was injured at one point and is currently being evaluated for it.
