Janice Golding | CTV News

Janice Golding is a video reporter for CTV News Toronto, covering breaking news from around the city. He also serves as anchor to supplement the station's daily newscasts.

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Golding has covered countless major headline-making events in Southern Ontario over the past two decades. He is determined to gather news when needed, but is also known for his sensitivity and compassion for the vulnerable in his ministry.

Golding began his career as a videographer at New RO in Ottawa, then moved to CKWS News in Kingston, where he anchored the news magazine program and anchored the station's nightly newscast.

Since joining CTV News Toronto in August 2000, he has served as a fill-in anchor for CTV News, anchored summer editions of Discovery Channel's DAILY PLANET, and hosted several seasons of Discovery International's science program CONNECT.

Golding holds a Masters in Journalism from Carleton University and a BA with honors in English and Political Science from the University of Toronto.

Golding is passionate about her family and everything that comes with motherhood. Growing up in the small town of Cochrane, Ont., she enjoys reading, painting, camping, hiking and all things outdoors. He holds a brown belt in taekwondo.

He speaks English, French and a little Spanish.
