The Winnipeg Jets enter Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on a season-long losing streak, but they're just one of the struggling teams in the Central Division at this point in the season. Only the Minnesota Wild won their last game (went on a 2 game winning streak yesterday with a win over the penguins) and the remaining franchises are collectively losses (1 – DAL/STL, 3 – COL/NSH, 4 – ARZ, 5 – WPG and 6 – CHI). In fact, the entire division has only won 37 of their last 80 games.

I have good news for Jets fans Rick Bowness and his staff finally decided to change Winnipeg's forward units to generate some offense. Many things required a move to bring Nikolai Ehlers Back to 1Art The line seems to be coming together Gabriel Villardi Slipping to 2n.d unit. Certainly, Connor Hellebuyck (2.22 GAA/.923%) will be back between the pipes against the Pens as the Jets look to get back to winning ways.

As mentioned, Pittsburgh is in a back-to-back situation after playing at Minnesota on Friday, so they'll be looking to get an early win to ease the contest on tired legs. The Penguins still need a win to move into a playoff position and will look to take advantage of a Winnipeg team that has had its worst performance of the season. It looks like the Jets will have to find a solution Tristan Jarry (2.45 GAA/.916%) since this evening Alex Nedelkovich played against the wild. Of course, there are such guys Sidney Crosby, Yevgeny Malkinand potential trade deadline target Jake Guentzel Winnipeg's defense is something to worry about.

The two franchises played four days ago and the Jets will be looking to bounce back from a road loss to the Penguins at the Canadian Center for Life. Here's how the teams stack up:

The Winnipeg Jets have only scored 3 goals in the first period in their last 9 games and have scored 9 goals. If our team wants to win more often, this pattern should be changed. Since the Jets have been having trouble lighting the lights out lately, let's cheer them on by trying to predict who will score for Winnipeg tonight……I say Mark Scheifele and Sean Monahan will score tonight!!!
