GAME DAY: Penguins at Planes | Winnipeg Airplanes

\WINNIPEG – \The Winnipeg Jets open a two-game homestand against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at 6 CT.

Winnipeg trails the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars by three points, but Dallas has two games in hand and Colorado has three. The Jets will face Pittsburgh for the second time in five days, with the Penguins shutting out Winnipeg 3-0 in their last meeting on Tuesday.

The Jets have a morning skate at 9:30 a.m. CT, where we'll see if there are any changes to Rick Bowness' lineup. Connor Hellebuyck is expected to start in goal. Be sure to check back here this morning for more information.

STATUS OF THE DAY

The Jets have held the opposition to three goals or fewer in 40 games this season and have a 29-8-3 record in those games. Winnipeg has allowed two goals or fewer in 22 of its last 26 games.
