Woman dies, two injured in Manitoba highway crash – Winnipeg

A woman has been killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash on a Manitoba highway.

Selkirk RCMP officers responded to the incident on Highway 4 on February 8 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Officials said the incident happened just west of the St. Peter Dynevor Bridge in the St. Andrews area.

Police say a southbound truck lost control due to icy road conditions and collided with a northbound vehicle. The 63-year-old driver of the delivery truck and a 68-year-old man traveling northbound were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 69-year-old female passenger died at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
