Okotoks RCMP are investigating the shooting

RCMP in Okotoks are investigating a shooting that happened earlier this week.

On Thursday, Feb. 8, just after 9:30 p.m., police responded to a report of multiple shots fired at a home on Crystal Shores Drive, south of Calgary.

Witnesses told investigators that immediately after the shooting, two men fled the scene in a Toyota Highlander.

A visitor to the home was left with non-life threatening injuries.

A short time later, police said the suspect vehicle was found abandoned near the scene.

Investigators said it had been set on fire and had previously been reported stolen.

The suspects then fled in a second vehicle, an unknown make of truck, and were last seen heading to Calgary.
