Investigators are looking for the ID owner after a woman was attacked by dogs in Toronto


A woman who was attacked by two dogs in Toronto has life-changing injuries, and police are trying to identify her owner.

Police said they were called to the area of ​​Martin Grove Boulevard and John Garland Boulevard (just south of Finch Avenue) on Wednesday around 8:40 p.m.

They heard that the woman was waiting at the bus stop, and two dogs approached her. These dogs were not tied, and their owner was not with them.

The dogs started attacking him. He tried to defend himself with a shopping cart, but they dragged him to the ground and continued the attack.

Finally, a man came by and helped him shelter his car.

His injuries, while not life-threatening, are described as serious and life-changing.

Another man said he followed the dogs and saw them attack the cyclist. Then the dogs tried to attack the owner in his yard. They headed for the TTC Wheel-Trans bus, but the operator closed the doors just in time.

Investigators are asking for help identifying the dogs and their owner. They say they are worried about the safety of the people.

Dogs are described as black and white. Their buildings were large; they may be Pit Bull Terriers or a similar breed.

There was no immediate description of their owner. However, security cameras show a man walking dogs.
