Food in Montreal: Breakfast from Hof ​​Kells is back, with Super Bowl waffles and new Tim Hortons drinks

Montreal's food scene is on fire this week as Hof Kelsten revives its breakfast, Super Bowl excitement reaches its most delicious with themed waffles and Tim Hortons shakes things up with new winter drinks.

There is Arthur's Nosh

Montreal breakfast joint Arthurs Jarritos is teaming up with Canada to create a limited-edition waffle with Tres Leches cake batter, cinnamon butter, dulce de leche and meringue.

Along with the food, they've released a special line of hoodies and t-shirts available for purchase in-store just in time for the Super Bowl.

Sweets for Valentine's Day

Montreal bakeries and cafes decorate their shelves with Valentine-themed treats. Heart-shaped delicacies and chocolates abound, so if you're looking to treat your loved one to something sweet that isn't just a box of chocolates from the drugstore, you'll want to visit your local favorites.

Hof Kelsten

Montreal's upscale Jewish bakery, Hof Kelsten, is spicing up the weekend with brunch. Swing by on a Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where freshly made bagels with French toast and lox are the stars of the show.

Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons is introducing a new winter drink menu that includes Fudge Brownie Latté and Marble Swirl Hot Chocolate, available in both hot and frozen versions.

The drinks combine espresso with fudge brownie syrup and milkshakes topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls for lattes. Marble Swirl Hot Chocolate offers a choice between traditional and white chocolate bases. Seasonal beverages can be paired with Tim's limited-time retro donuts.
