A visitor was injured in a shooting at an Okotoks home, police are investigating

Police say the suspect's vehicle caught fire shortly after the shooting and the suspects fled in a pickup truck toward Calgary.

Okotoks RCMP are seeking information from the public following a shooting at a home on Crystal Shores Drive last night.

On February 8 at approximately 9:34 p.m., Okotoks RCMP officers were dispatched to a report of multiple shots fired at a residence.

As a result of the shooting, a visitor to the residence was injured, but their life is not in danger.

According to police, witnesses said that immediately after the shooting, the two suspects were seen fleeing the residence in a Toyota Highlander and leaving the scene.

A short time later, the suspect vehicle was found abandoned in Okotoks near the scene. It was burned and previously reported stolen.

The suspects fled in a second vehicle, an unknown make/model truck, with their final destination to Calgary.
