AN EMPOWERING CONVERSATION WITH PAMELA ANDERSON

YWHISPER Gala, March 7^th

In anticipation of International Women's Day 2024, YW Calgary is proud to present Pamela Anderson for one of the most important conversations of the year at the 12th Annual YWHISPER Gala. This event is important in terms of raising funds and awareness for YW's work to protect and support women and their children in our community.

At a time when one in five women in Canada has experienced harassment; 45% of people say they really understand the meaning of the agreement; and 1.8 million Albertans have experienced sexual harassment. In order to make significant changes to this static, we need to have open, honest, and difficult conversations. YWHISPER has built a reputation in Calgary for bringing people together in deep and impactful conversations that help create change and inspire people to take powerful action.

A woman can only be defined by herself, not by what someone else tells her. Pamela Anderson's personal story is powerful and moving. She describes how she overcame trauma and public perception, her personal passions, and other lessons she learned along the way.
