One person was seriously injured during the shooting in Ajax

Durham Police are investigating a shooting that left one person seriously injured in Ajax on Thursday night.

It happened south of Rossland Road West, near Ivers Court and Westney Road North.

Police said they found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to the trauma center.

There is no information about his condition.

Police say the two suspects fled on foot. No description has been published.
