Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime lost in the second round in Marseille

Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime lost to China's Zhang Zhizhen 6-4, 6-4 in the second round of the Open 13 in Provence on Thursday.

No. 7 Auger-Aliassime of Montreal fell in one hour and 28 minutes.

Zhang, ranked 50th in the world, converted three of four break points. He used the average Canadian serve, winning 67 percent of his first serve points and 42 percent of his second serve points.

Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ont., the lone Canadian in the ATP 250, was eliminated in the first round.
