Bill 21: Quebec wants to renew “public peace” clause

The Legault government on Thursday introduced a bill to protect its secularism law for another five years. Jean-Francois Roberge, the minister in charge of secularism, proposed renewing the use of the clause, which was first used in June 2019 when the law was passed.
