Bombardier's 4th-quarter revenue falls compared to last year, revenue rises – Business News

Bombardier Inc. fourth quarter profit of $215 million, down from $241 million in the year-ago quarter.

The planemaker, which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, said earnings per diluted share for the quarter ended Dec. 31 fell from $2.40 a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter was $3.06 billion, up from $2.66 billion in the last three months of 2022.

On an adjusted basis, the company says it earned $1.37 per share in the fourth quarter, down from adjusted earnings of $2.10 per share a year ago.

In its 2024 guidance, Bombardier says it expects to deliver 150 to 155 aircraft, compared with 138 in 2023.

Revenue for 2024 is projected to be between $8.4 billion and $8.6 billion, up from $8 billion last year.
