Another price hike at the gas pump is on the way in Alberta

If this feels like deja vu, you're not alone. After gas prices in Alberta jumped 10 cents earlier this week, forecasters are predicting another hike in pump prices for Calgary and Edmonton.

According to Gas Wizard, regular gasoline prices will rise eight cents to $1.44 a liter in Calgary, while Edmonton's will also rise eight cents to $1.42 a litre.

Premium gas is forecast to rise eight cents tomorrow, to $1.76 a liter in Calgary and $1.72 a liter in Edmonton.

The price of diesel fuel has not changed. It remains $1.66 per liter in Calgary and $1.64 per liter in Edmonton.

The cheapest regular gas in Canada can now be found at $1.38 a liter in Peterborough, Ontario, and $1.32 a liter in Winnipeg, according to Gas Forecasters.
