1 person shot in lobby of Toronto building: police

A man is being treated for a gunshot wound inside a building in Toronto's Liberty Village, police said.

Just before 5 p.m. Thursday, authorities received a 911 call about a shooting at Ordnance Street and Strachan Avenue.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the lobby of the building. He was treated by paramedics and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no information about the suspects, there is an active police operation in the area.
