The Calgary National Bank Challenger returned to Calgary for its fifth year on October 13th

Alberta's largest indoor tennis tournament will return for a fifth year in 2024.

The Calgary National Bank Challenger will return from Oct. 13 to 20, 2024 at the Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Center in Calgary, tournament organizers announced Wednesday.

Featuring many up-and-coming players and established stars from the ATP and WTA World Tour, it is Canada's largest international tennis tournament outside of the National Bank Open.

October Days is a 2023 variation where the story is played in early November.

“We believe our new date will better position us on the international and national tournament calendar and help attract an even stronger field of players,” said tournament director Danny Da Costa.

The 2024 event will be the ATP Challenger 75 and the ITF Women's Pro Circuit 75 event.

The tournament is highly regarded among players, coaches and ATP Challenger officials. Organizers say the 31,112 spectators who attended the 2023 event generated an estimated $3.67 million in activity for Calgary.

Tickets for the five-year Calgary National Bank Challenger go on sale February 13, with early bird pricing starting April 1.
