Lethbridge police have charged a $100,000 drug bust

Four people have been charged as part of a human trafficking investigation in which Lethbridge police seized more than $100,000 in illegal drugs.

Police arrested a man during a traffic stop and seized 162 grams of fentanyl, seven grams of methamphetamine, about eight grams of cocaine, and $300 in cash.

Three more people were arrested and 30 drug pills, about 29 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of fentanyl, 67 grams of meth, cleaning supplies and $1,020 in cash were seized when police searched a vehicle in a south side parking lot.

Police later searched the Lethbridge hotel room and seized approximately 616 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and approximately $28,000 in cash.

Four men are facing multiple drug-related charges, including a 26-year-old from Fort McLeod, a 53-year-old from Granum, a 49-year-old from Lethbridge and a 30-year-old from Calgary.
